And then…
there are moments

so you can be met with sweet surprises.
along with familiar faces.
And although the pathway might have its twists and turns
and you might even get lost for a little while
you can trust that you’ll be exactly where you need to be
at the right moment.
And just when you might want to throw in the towel
when you don’t know if you want to go on anymore
a peek of light meets your eye
so bright you can’t not see it.
And the dawn turns to daylight
and you’re met with its warm gaze
and you’re taken to a place deeper into
where you already are
and here you discover a space
where no words can reach
yet still, a truth resides
permeating your entire being.
And your eyes are soft and open
and your heart is awed and humbled
and for a moment you glimpse
into an infinite realm
comprised of only gratitude.
