As with every eclipse, we’re entering a portal of endings and beginnings, and this eclipse has a significant connection to outcomes and decisions which will be made during January 2023 (when the lunar nodes will conjunct the current eclipse nodes).
Think shifting, pivoting, and a time for completions allowing the way to new creations.
What things have you started, (projects which are needing completion, contracts needing to be finalized, etc.) and what things would you like to see resolution on, in regards to your life and circumstances? Keep in mind, this isn’t something expected to happen overnight, so take your time, but the decisions now being made, and will be a culmination of what is yet to transpire between now and January 2023.
Being at 10 degrees Taurus, this represents a shift in what we actually value, versus what we feel we must do for for money, fame, sustaining possessions, status etc.
We must honestly ask ourselves – are the Ideas, associations, jobs, and commitments we are apart of still resonating with the integrity of who we are, what we want, and what we are becoming?
If we are pushing ourselves out of alignment in order to make money or bring in more X, this theme will be highlighted.
We are being asked to reflect upon what is truly worth our time, energy, and prioritization, and many of us might notice that the tangible monetary excess which we once put on a pedestal will no longer bring us the fulfillment which once thought.
Landing in Hexagram 24 – Returning – A turning point recharges you and eventually brings success.
This one is a blessing – it’s all about turning darkness back into light. It’s about reflecting on our past pains and struggles in order to find the light within those dark moments, not to justify their cause, but to understand how those occurrences supported our personal growth and evolution. Allowing them to be a reference point to know and own what we truly want and to no longer settle for less than we deserve.
This is a tough – but necessary question – where are you currently settling for what you deserve? And how can you further step into the embodiment of that which you do deserve?
Where have you been and where do you want to be?
The Vedic Bharani is ruled by Venus, and the Hindu God of Death (Yama). I see him as the Justice card in the tarot, he who rewards the good deeds and punishes the bad.
Bharani, symbolized by the yoni, and represents drive, passion and desire. It is akin to the yearning for the beloved, alongside the sacrifice, action and transformation which is required for its actualization. Because it falls in the first pada of Leo – this is an opportune time for growth – any life path, career, relationship, project, creative endeavor would be blessed now.
In this way, we see the Yoni as the portal for creation and destruction. Because as with all transformation, something must die in order for something else to be born, so if we let go of what needs letting go without resistance, we have a chance inspire and aspire towards a new life path.
This is also a great time to end any addictions, or addictive patterns or behaviors.

As you can see – we are working with similar themes along all of these astrological systems, which not only apply for the outer circumstances, but our inner world as well.
What are you really wanting to build and prioritize?
Where are you settling for less?
What to you need to lovingly let die in order to open to the birthing of your new creation?
What actions do you need to take to actualize this higher vision?
All important questions we need to ask ourselves right now.
Since 2020, during every eclipse, I either engage in yoga, meditation, or another kind of sadhana. But as goes with most eclipses, and what I learned from the last eclipse when I first got to Bali and was interrupted from my meditation to rescue a woman screaming next door to me during the apex (that’s for another post), things may not always go as planned.
Eclipse energies are very fated, so sometimes, unusual things happen.
So as much as you may intend to go with the flow – prepare for the unexpected.
And in honor of whatever you may be facing at this time – remember to keep your spirits high. Try to lean into change rather than resisting, let go and let come, and own the creations and desires which stem from the roots of your heart.
Sending grace, alignment, and an easeful transformation.
